Countdown To Christmas

Ok so it's not technically the beginning of the12 days of Christmas until Christmas Day itself but we wanted to get started early! Join us over the next 12 days for our Countdown to Christmas, with a new video each day. 

On the First Day of Christmas, my PT gave to me… One Home Workout 

Christmas is such a busy time so its great to have a go-to home workout up your sleeve, for times you can't go to the gym or have lots of commitments and time is short. You don’t need any equipment, and you also don’t need much room. I do these 6 exercises working for 40 seconds and then resting for 20 seconds, repeating for 3 rounds in total - this will only take you 18 minutes. Make sure you warm up and stretch afterwards, get some music on and you’ll feel loads better once you’ve been moving a bit. 

Exercise 1: Squat Jumps

Exercise 2: Press Ups – Elf optional!

Exercise 3: Side Plank

Exercise 4: Side Plank (other side)

Exercise 5: Reverse Lunges

Exercise 6: Burpees

Tom’s Tip: If you fancy doing your own workout, then choose exercises that you find challenging but not impossible - you are much more likely to stick to it.
