Aiming to get 10,000 steps in a day is a really good focus if you are trying to be more active and healthier.
Things like taking the stairs instead of the lift, or not taking the closest available parking space at the supermarket are just a few ideas to increase your activity.
Most smartphones have a step tracker (on iphones its under the health app) which can help you monitor your steps.
N.E.A.T (Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis - includes the calories expended outside of exercise, eating and sleeping) burns more calories than most spin or HIIT classes!
